Trevor has been on the meds for 2 weeks now!!!
Trevor is doing AMAZING!!!!!!! I know he is feeling so much better. It has been 14 days since I heard him sob and scream in pain.
Trevor still walks with a limp and often a hop. But at least he is walking I have not had to carry him in 14 days.
I talked to Seattle Childrens yesturday and reported the good news to the nurse. The doctor has decided to start weening him off the steroid prednizone. It will take several weeks to ween him off. While on the phone with the nurse I asked her if she happened to have his latest lab reults handy. Back in May Trevors lab for inflamation came back at 45. The Labs that Seattle took August 21st inflamation came back at 65. The nurse told me that Trevors normal should be know higher than 10. All of his labs came back showing that Trevor's condition is serious. I am just so grateful that we made the trip to Seattle and started Trevor on the meds to help his body . Later this week I will take Trevor in for more labs. I am so curious to find out the results. I sure hope the labs show signs of improvement. I am sure they will, I can see GIGANTIC signs of improvement.
