Wow it has been a long time since I last updated my blog.....
Well we got the eeg results back and Trevor is seizure free. I find the results less than comforting. The results are leaving me with even more questions and little to no answers. Do not get me wrong I am so HAPPY that he is not having seizures but I find myself wondering what I am seeing and just what is happening to my little guy. However on the upside of things I have changed a lot of things here at home and by so doing his episodes have all but vanishe). I am in hopes that I can keep things this way forever.
Trevor is also making good progress in speech. He is more willing to try to say words or just sounds, and I often find him singing to himself. When he sings the words come more easily and I can tell what he is singing most of the time. I am in hopes that we are on the brink of a major speech break through and the words will come quickly.
Catherine is doing excellent in school she loves her teacher and has made quite a few friends. She is sad that the year is almost over. We have made lots of plans to keep her busy this summer in hopes that I can convince her that being home with Mom is more fun than going to school.
I was told that allergy testing would help me control Catherine's asthma so in the middle of April Catherine and I went to the Allergist and we discovered that Catherine is severely allergic to almost everything to the outside. So now she is taking allergy medicine everyday along with her asthma treatments. The meds. seem to be helping her. She is breathing way better and she has slept through the night since we started the new medicine. Before the testing and medicine she was waking up several times a week coughing and short of breathe.
Kaylinn is still the sunshine of our home. She took her first steps in February and now we are all running after her. She is a little girl on the go. She is starting to talk a little. I will update more on Kaylinn in the very near future.
Eric is busy working lots of hours as always. A few days ago he was offered a transfer to Indiana. We are still pondering on the idea of going there. Indiana is not were we want to be yet it almost feels as if that is were we should go. I am so scared of the answer I refuse to even pray about it. We will need to get BRAVE and take it to the Lord.
I was released from Primary Sunday. I am looking forward to my new callings and the opportunity to serve. I am enjoying my role as wiife and mother, there are days that I find it a little overwhelming but I would not change my role ever. I am were I want to be doing exactly what I want to be doing.
Just a side note.....Sunday Eric was informed that the Elders Quorum President is moving and I was told that I was going to be released. (Eric is the First Councilor in Elders Quorum). Saturday Eric was offered a transfer. Is this a coincidence or the Lords hand telling us it is time to go????
We are going to stay in Great Falls a while longer and hope for something closer to home.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a job transfer that puts you where you want to be!
