Matthew 3:13-17
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized
of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying I have need to be baptized of thee, and
comest thou to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus
it becometh us to fulfil all rightousness . Then he suffered him.
16 And Jesus when he was baptized, went up srtaightway out of the water:
and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spririt of
God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved son, in whom
I am wll pleased.
When I am Baptized
I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain
and ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again.
I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain.
I want to be the best I can and live with God again.
I know when I am baptized my wrongs are washed away,
and I can be forgiven and improve myself each day.
I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain.
I want to be the best I can and live with God again.

Catherine got to pick her favorite baptism song and her favorite hymn.
She was so excited when we all sang Angels we have heard on high.
